SURGIDERM 24XP is a dermal filler made from non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid. The XP stands for Extra Plastic, and this dermal filler has an excellent capacity for being molded and shaped, making it ideal for modeling the facial contours. SURGIDERM 24XP is meant to be administered into the mid-dermis. It does not contain Lidocaine, so it can be administered to those who have allergies to that anesthetic.
Dermal filler SURGIDERM 24XP is used for correcting medium-to-deep wrinkles and lines and for enhancing the vermilion border. Filling in moderate skin depressions is another of its applications, so it can be used to treat scars. The hyaluronic acid in SURGIDERM 24XP is crosslinked using a patented process called 3D Hyaluronic Acid Matrix Technology. The type of crosslinkage this technology creates makes the product more resistant to degradation and therefore longer-lasting. In addition, the dermal filler distributes evenly, so the aesthetic effect is quite natural in appearance.
Dermal filler SURGIDERM 24XP is indicated for treating mature patients who have marionette lines, nasolabial folds, and other wrinkles on the forehead, chin, and cheekbones. It can also be used for enhancement of the lips and for filling in hollows in order to contour and model the face. The effects of treatment with SURGIDERM 24XP are visible right away and remain so for six to nine months, lasting up to a year in some cases.
Dermal filler SURGIDERM 24XP is manufactured by Allergan in Europe and comes as two pre-filled syringes containing 0.8 ml of gel and accompanied by two 30G1/2” needles. It is made of crosslinked hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin. SURGIDERM 24XP’s hyaluronic acid concentration is 24 mg/ml.
