Teosyal RHA 1 is a dermal filler that is hyaluronic acid-based: its formula contains both crosslinked and non-crosslinked acid. It is intended for administration into the mid-dermis. Dermal filler Teosyal RHA 1 is meant for treatment of superficial lines on the parts of the face that move the most and are essential for natural facial expressions. For the added comfort of the patient, dermal filler Teosyal RHA 1 includes Lidocaine.
Dermal filler Teosyal RHA 1 belongs to a range of fillers that are used for treating the cheeks, forehead, and the areas around the mouth and eyes – these are the most mobile parts of the face. RHA stands for Resilient Hyaluronic Acid. A patented process is used to combine both crosslinked and non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid in Teosyal RHA 1. The crosslinked hyaluronic acid helps ensure longevity of the outcomes while the purity of the non-modified hyaluronic acid helps it mimic the way the endogenous skin component behaves during facial movements. The result is a dermal filler that helps fine lines appear less visible but adapts and stretches, respecting the emotional language the human face is capable of producing. Results are natural-looking and long-lasting.
Dermal filler Teosyal RHA 1 is indicated for treating Nasolabial Folds and Crow’s Feet, and for smoothing the first fine lines in the perioral area, cheeks, and forehead. It can also be used for treating hollows under the eyes also known as Tear Troughs. The effects of dermal filler Teosyal RHA 1 last from six to nine months, and maintenance visits are suggested once or twice a year.
Manufactured in Switzerland by Teoxane Laboratories, dermal filler Teosyal RHA 1 is made with a concentration of 15 mg/ml of a mix of both crosslinked and non-crosslinked sodium hyaluronate that is of non-animal origin. The concentration of Lidocaine is 3mg/ml. Two syringes, each prefilled with 1 ml of gel, come in each package and accompanied by 2 x 30G1/2” needles.
